Tracking AWeber Link Clicks with Google Analytics – Part One

Read part 2 of this series to learn how to track different campaigns very quickly & easily without having to create an extra Smart Link.

One of my clients asked recently “Jack, how do I add google analytics to my smartlinks so I can track which of my campaigns are most effective?”

Well, there is actually two ways to do it and in today’s short video I am going to show you the first way. It’s really really simple once you see how it is done.

So go ahead and click the video below and I will show you how it’s done.

  • Hey thanks for sharing this info, now I can use the same strategy with my own list building system that does exactly the same as your system and a lot more…

I do have a question for you though, is there any information online about the JVZoo API?

I know how to use API’s because I’m working with Google Developers together and I’m a beta tester for Google which gives me some extra privileges and access to parts of Google that others don’t even know it’s there… I’m not gonna share that with everyone here but you get the idea of the possibilities opening up for me… 😉

Because of your video here going into the details of what’s happening in the background you inspired me to try connecting my own system to JVZoo the same way as you do with AWeber, the only difference is that I have also the autoresponder with advanced tracking, professional landing pages, unlimited subdomains to add, without the limitations to add subscribers as you’d normally have with AWeber or GetResponse, I also don’t have to use the double opt-ins and I can even add new subscribers to my database in bulk without having to come up with every little detail and at the end you’re still not able to add those subscribers you generated legally with your other systems etc.

I can say that managing it all yourself if you’re able to is in my eyes the best way to go you only have to know the proper usage of the API, know that and it get’s pretty simple and straightforward next time you want to do that.

    Best regards,
